Wind and tongue tie?

I'm bf my 4 month old daughter who has tongue tie. Since she was born she has had a lot of wind pain. She is my third baby so I'm not new to bf.
My health visitor says the tongue tie and wind are not connected - I'm not so sure.
Do you think drinking from a bottle would make her less windy? Anyone have experience of this?

my first 2 babies were both tongue tied. no obvious wind problems in either of them!

i guess it's possible that she could be taking in more air due to a not great latch, but you'd probably have other symptoms if her latch wasn't brill (nipple pain etc)

i suspect it's just coincidence, and a tongue tied baby can have just as much difficulty with a bottle as with breast, so no, i don;'t think that would change anything
