How much milk does a 11 month old need?

I'm going back to work when dd2 is 11 months old. I am concerned about how much milk she would need to consume while there.
She is allergic to milk so I have been prescribed a hypoallergenic formula. It tastes foul!
She has never had a bottle (she is 8 months now) and is not keen on a)the bottle b)the hypo formula(altho she has it on her Weetabix).
She no longer feeds during the night.
I am planning to continue bfing for early morning and bedtime feeds.
So how much milk does she need in the day (at nursery). Could nursery give it to her in a cup?
Any thoughts gratefully received. Thank you

It very much depends on her but she would probably be fine with milk feeds night and morning only (she might start to feed more at night though). DD is 11 months and sometimes she wants milk in the day but she quite often isn't bothered and if it wasn't offered I doubt she would care.

both my lo's had 2 milk feeds (one am and one pm)by 11 months (although they were bottle fed). Up to 1 year the minimum recommended is 20oz which includes milk in cereal, in foods, etc and any other sources of calcium. From 1 year the minimum equivalent drops to around 350mls (approx 12oz) which also includes the things mentioned above. Can she take soya products e.g. yoghurt?

So do you think they could just offer it in cups at snack time and she would be OK?

I'm not massively keen to start a bottle if a cup would be better.

Should have said that DD has a cup, i think its even recommended that they have a cup not a bottle at that age (personally i just couldn't be fagged with bottles)

Seona i don't know yet if she is allergic to soya.

yes I would try the cup. I started introducing formula to ds in a lidded cup from around 9 months and by 10 1/2 months he was having all his milk feeds from the cup. I did it one feed at a time e.g. gave the mid-morning milk in a cup with a snack and let him try it by himself. Once he was ok with it and took more than a few sips I started swapping the other milk feeds into the cup as well.

If she's got to 11mo without needing a bottle, there's no reason to start now. If she's happy with a cup, then use a cup (she probably wouldn't take a bottle at this age anyway [guessing])
