Ridiculous Expressing routine

Im sat hear EBMing as somehow Iv gotten into a stupid habit of expressing at 2 am as my boobs dont seem to fill up till then. If I stop this it takes a couple of days for amount to re-establish and Iv just started an exercise class/dp takes a bit of pressure off at week ends. The expressed feed gives me some options.

Baby is coming up to 6 months at the end of the year and Im gearing up for BLW/pudfeeding,but going to try to continue BF till he is 1.
The feed of milk is given in the evening by my DP after 7.Followed by a BF an hour or so later and bed by 9.30-10.
I need to get an hour sleep with the baby in during the day at least just to stay (Almost) sane.
Baby will wake for feed when I go to bed shortly(Leave him the other boob) and will look for another feed about from anything between 4 and 7.
Iv tried expressing during the day and managed only an ounce at most.
I use the time to try and do some work but usually end up on MN.

Oh bugger look at the bloody time..

Again..

Could you try to move it to very early morning instead? So feed baby from one side, then express at 5am, say? if that works, you could gradually push 5 am to 6, then 7?

I went back to full time work when dd1 was 14 weeks, and didn't give her any formula till about 9 months. I used to feed from one side all night, then express and feed from the other side in the morning (plus expressing in the day while at work). But I had lots of milk, so I don't know if it would affect your supply.
