DS (9mnts)usually only gets bf at bedtime now. Was at my wits end and utterly exhausted as he was comfort feeding about 5 times a night. It's taken us a long way to get here but I'm really missing it now, and with dp going away for a week don't know if I can fight it...

You may have the fight all over again if you do....

I know. I'm just being selfish, aren't I?

But you'd still be doing the bedtime feed, right?

Yep

No it's not selfish, but you just may regret it - a week will fly by you know.

It is hard,my dh is away for weeks on end,and although I've just stopped b/feeding ds (11mths) I sometimes bring my sleeping dd into bed with me for a cuddle.

Could be crueller to the babe to restart then withdraw privileges when dh returns though...

You're both right. I'm going to resist the temptation. Thanks xx
