Richard Whiteley: Will the afternoon feed ever be the same? :(

I know there's another thread on this, but is the Countdown feed a bit of an institution for anyone else? We will have to entertain ourselves otherwise during the afternoon feed now .

And sad too cos he was a gorgeous bloke - I thought he was my dad!

im gutted... too sad for words. What will i do without countdown?!

fisil - totally agree. Don't live in the UK now but when I did dd was just a baby and would have Countdown on in the background while playing with her and pottering about - very happy memories. It was such a gentle, harmless programme, a real antidote to real life iykwim. (Also I was really good at the numbers bit!)
