DS3 , 10 weeks, has always preferred the left side for feeding (I'm right handed so this makes sense, its more comfortable), but normally takes the right at least part of the time. However he hasn't touched it since last night and I'm in agony. Its gigantic and like a rock.
I keep trying to get him to take it and he won't, even when he was really hungry earlier. I don't have a working pump (its missing a small part that I can't replace), and hand expressing is painful.

Help! What can I do to relieve the soreness, and how to get him to take both sides?

Can you try tricking him into thinking he's getting the left boob by holding him rugby ball style under your arm? if not warm shower on boob to help it flow? He may not want / be able to latch on if its orange hard...
