On the train last night...

Was coming back from registering dd, sneaked into first class on vv crowded train so I could sit and feed her.

We were snuggled up in a corner with the sling draped over the business area, with one empty seat next to us, the last in the compartment.

At the next station a middle aged man got on, approached this seat and then turned his back on me and spent ages harrumphing and fiddling with his bag and umbrella.

Eventually he announced to the whole compartment:

"I'm leaving. There are too many flu viruses and germs in here."

And he left to stand in the crowded standard class vestibule, much to the confusion of my fellow passengers.

Presumably he did not want to sit next to me? I thought it was hilarious.

sounds like you are right there OP

my FIL was very embarrassed when i was bf DD and would go red in the face at the mere mention of BF i ALWAYS covered up and rarely fed DD in the same room as him but he was constantly red faced and coughing in an awkward way

My FIL stares off-puttingly and ALWAYS remembers which side DS fed from last.
