BFing - when do your boobs stop changing shape?

When do your boobs stop changing shape to the extent that it's reasonable to get measured up and buy a posh new bra without the fear that in 3 months it will no longer fit? I've been feeding dd for a year tomorrow and want to get myself a new bra because a) I'm fed up of boring nursing bras and b) it's a treat to myself for getting this far.

From my own viewpoint it seems that they've been pretty much the same size and shape for about 3-4 months - since she stopped having regular night feeds basically. She's on morning and evening and then a couple of small ones during the day, so the nursing bras will have to hang around a bit longer, but I really want to get a nice underwired cleavage maker for seducing DH evenings! I'm not planning on giving up the morning and evening feeds until she stops wanting them, does that mean I have to wait til she's completely stopped to get remeasured?

hmm

mine worked the other way round - I stopped expressing and dd dropped the daytime feeds, and my boobs stabilised to 'night feeds only' after about 3m.
I bought fab new non-nursing bras which were gorgeous... until we dropped the night feeds, at which point I changed size radically and none of them fit.

So basically get measured now, but don't expect whatever you buy to fit for very long...

You could just get yourself one nice one for now, then get some more when you are sure what size you will be.
