Supply Question and Exclusive Expressing

At the moment I am privately donating my breast milk to a MS sufferer.
I?m now ready to stop feeding my 14 month old but don?t want to stop donating.
From past experience I remember just how engorged your breasts get when you stop feeding. If I empty my breasts every time they get engorged do you think I can express and they?ll fill up to the same degree every time or will it lessen?
I ask because with 3 small children there?ll be no way I can express every couple of hours. Currently I express twice a day whilst feeding DC from the opposite breast .

i think without the extra stimulation from a baby the supply would diminish. you would have to pump more often in order to keep up the production.

try searching the MN archives with my name and the phrase 'cluster pump' and 'power pump'
