Have just been reading a thread in pregnancy and it's got me thinking.
I'm 32 weeks pregnant and have GD. I've had a fortnight of consistently high blood sugars so am expecting to be prescribed metformin. Thing is, i've just heard that it's not licensed for use in pregnant women and that's also got me to thinking and wondering if it's safe for use during breastfeediing.
I'm still feeding my 18month old DD - anyone know if it'd be ok or should i ask for injectables instead?
