Night feeding nightmare

Tell me it gets better soon please - DD is 3.5wks old now and just feeds (BF) non stop all day and all night. Going to go mad if I have too many more nights of no sleep - was up 5 times in the night with her last night feeding. Can't get the hang of lying down with her to feed her at all despite numerous attempts, and so scared something will happen to her, so she sleeps in a crib next to my bed.

Other people will disagree with me, but have your tried a dummy?

Yes - sometime she will take it sometimes not. Sadly nighttime is when she is most likely to spit it straight out.

I've actually put dd back in the bed with me. Dh is upstairs in the loft (!) so there's plenty of space for her to lie next to me - and it is so much easier just rolling over and sticking the dummy back in or feeding her. It does get easier. Dd is now almost 13 weeks but still feeding every 3-4 hours.
