Just wondering really.
Dh's friend has a dd - 3 months old. She was born at 28 weeks. She is at home now and doing really well.
His friend was telling him that they feed her every 4 hours but at the minute she wants more milk in the evenings.
Is it the same as with breastfeeding - do you give formula on demand?
Dh is worried that he gave the wrong advice to his friend when he saw him last night so I thought I'd ask you ladies

TIA

Well I did with my prem as they need all the food they can get

What did your dh tell them? That the evening is a hungry time and they should feed her if she's hungry NOT to a timetable? That's what I would have told them.

My dh said basically to feed her when she wants to be fed- and that you can't over-feed. So he gave the right advice

Thanks very much!
