Help - oversupply due to ds cold/nursing strike

Am having a bad couple of days here and need a plan for getting through if anyone can help. DS is 14 wks and badly congested and has cut his feeding right back. My boobs are very over-full and when he does feed a bit he gets upset due to the let down which is normally quite fast (i.e. high powered spray which goes everywhere if he pops off). What should I do in order to maintain my comfort (currently boobs are painful and am achy generally) and my supply. Have been expressing a bit today but is that making the problem worse? How often should I try and feed him over the evening and tonight? He's not asking for feeds as he usually does but is generally unsettled (lots of time in the sling today).

Pretty sure it's just a bad cold as his sister has had it too. He doesn't have a temperature.

Thanks in advance...
