ff is this enough?

my 10 week old dd is ff atm until i can get my supply back and she is now only using half a pot of sma gold a week...roughly 5 feeds a day..is this enough? she seems to be puttig weight on ok, plenty of wet nappies (only 1 dirty one a day or can even be 2 days) so im guessing she is getting enough but it seems odd to me, she used to drink a pot a week now its only half!

she has feeds at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm and then 9pm...sleeps 9pm til 7am!

just seems odd to me. ds (3.5years old) always drank a pot a week!

your feeding routine sounds fine to me.
my DS is 10week old too. and he has 6 feeds a day 3 hours appart then 1-2 feeds at night.

he feeds at 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, and 10pm.

and like you i dont get through a tub a week, not quite anyway. and he has plenty of wet and dirty nappies. don't worry about it. you DD will take as much milk as she needs when she needs it.

You say she is FF until you get your supply back... do you need any advice on this? MN is a great source of help and knowledge. If not just ignore me

thanks both of you, has helped put my mind at ease, i have posted several threads about re-starting breastfeeding and had some great advice, have tried the latching her 6+ times a day and nothing, been using fenugreek too for a week and nothing...doc refused to give me domperidone at 6 week check...have appointment with another doc wed to beg for it cos really want to restart and she still latches so im hopeful as long as i can get my supply restarted!

Oh excellent Glad you are getting some support, at that doctor though.
