6 week old not slept ALL day so took him out in pram and he's now finally in the land of nod. The problem is, he's now due a feed! So, do I let him catch up on some sleep or do I waken him for a feed? Another point is that he is VERY FUSSY in the evenings, so which of the two options will make nighttime a little easier?

Many thanks!

No expert here, but I would make sure he gets a good hours kip, then think about trying to gently feed him. My gut instinct is if he's not slept all day, but presumably had lots of feeds, let him get a bit of kip. You get some rest or at least a cuppa too!

let him sleep-if he's feeding on demand, he will "demand" pretty soon I reckon, and all will be well...i.e. normal service will resume..Actually, I'll bet he's woken up by now?
