Tongue tie/ upper lip tie

Over the past week or so, I have noticed that my dd has a tongue tie which would explain her inability to latch on, falling asleep while breast feeding, slipping on and off, my mastitis problems and her subsequent weight loss at 4 weeks. She is also very slow to feed at the bottle.
So tonight have fully examined her mouth while she is in deep sleep, and can see she also has an upper lip tie.
Has anyone experience of this? What are the chances that I can get it snipped? Will they do it on the nhs? Do I have to go private, and if so how much will it cost?

No experience of upper lip tie I'm afraid but DS was TT and unable to latch. I had him snipped and he latched right away .

As far as I'm aware, if it is affecting feeding you can definitly get it done on the NHS. With DS it was very quick and untraumatic.
