Stupid question(s) about milk in a cup

I am just starting to give DD(6 months) a cup (TT beaker) for her milk more regularly & was wondering how other people went about making up formula when using a cup.

I have been making it up in a bottle & then pouring it in but this means twice the washing up and sterilising. (Small concern in the grand scheme of things but I'm always up for time saving tips!)

Sorry - that was only one question. I did have another but it was even more stupid so I kept it to myself!

I did it in the bottle as well and then put it in a cup (although I didnt sterilise the cup!). The cups did go through the dishwasher and I didnt start using the cup until ds was around 9 months old.
