no really
sometimes it is blue and thin, sometimes yellow and creamy, sometimes watery, sometimes lumpy. It's all normal and they never seem to mind unless it's actually rancid.

thankyou that link was great!!! so i can freeze and keep it then? do you think ds' childless godmother will think me disgusting for giving her lumpy breastmilk to feed him on??!!

lumps are solidified fat and will disappear when heated to give it to him.

i threw it away going to make some more closer to the time.

nooo!
never throw it away, it is liquid gold

if in doubt freeze it then you can decide later if you want to ditch it or not

sorry too late but the batch i have expressed today looks allot healthier with no lumpyness!!! lucky i have such atrotiously big boobies to keep up with the demand lol!
