That enough abbreviations for one title?!

Have bought some goat's formula as know plenty of toddlers who have this though not sure if its so beneficial /safe for babies?

Was avoiding goats milk formula b/c of small chance that if DS was intol to cow's milk formula he may be okay to goat's milk formula.

BUT now I hear there are rumours re being taken off the shelves or something ?? .. and not really sure what the truth is!

Soooo looking forward to handing over the last feed to DH... whatever the formula.

Fairly sure that goats milk based formula is not suitable for babies under 1, and apparently lots of babies will be just as sensitive to goats milk as cows. Will have a look for references for you

EU said that there wasn't enough evidence that goats milk protein was different enough from cows milk protein to give it eligability as a infant formula.

They deemed infant formula would have a cows milk or hypoallergenic base.

It is widely available outside the EU as a infant formula tho.
