There are breastfeeding workshops on every day of the Baby Show (NEC - 30 May to 1 June)

Have you paid to advertise this?

Tissy · 28/05/2003 13:19

Maybe Mumsnet could do an "article" about the Baby Show. And be paid for it.

codswallop · 28/05/2003 13:30

LOL at the thought of a workshop!! Tool reqd..one pair of oversized mammaries/...

Carriel · 28/05/2003 15:40

Mumsnet has given the Baby Show publicity both on the home page and in the newsletter in return for a "free" stand (still have to buy electricity, chair etc!) at the NEC to publicise mumsnet and sell the mumsnet book. However we didn't agree to publicise other people's stands. I'm sure a breastfeeding workshop will be useful and if that's all magicmum was trying to pass on then fine, but if it is a company ad, then you can [email protected] and we can arrange a more prominent plug in exchange for a small fee.
Cheers
Carrie

NCT is running the breastfeeding workshops. In fact, I know the person, a breastfeeding counsellor, who is doing them. Not sure why this meesage popped up though - just someone trying to be helpful?

SoupDragon · 28/05/2003 17:59

There was one from MagicMum under "Products" too about the bargains you'll be able to get at the show.

I saw that after I'd posted. Very strange. As Carrie pointed out, there's been a fair bit of publicity about the show anyway on mumsnet.

I will be on the NCT stand with the person running the breastfeeding workshop on Friday if anyone wants to say hello. Don't ask me about breastfeeding though ask her as I never tried lol.

I have no idea what magic mums messages are about as she doesn't seem to be selling anything in particular.

Strange!
