Does it really happen?

DD is 19months and although it's 2 feeds a day (or 1 when I am at work), I am wondering whether she really will ever stop.

I generally dont mind, although at the moment it really hurts (period next week).

Do they really just stop??

according to Kellymom, usually between the ages of 2 and 4, but obv. YMMV.

My DS had one feed before bed until he was 3, then I shut up shop. At your DS's age, he was still feeding quite a lot, and it was v. helpful when he was ill and couldn't eat much. Lots of reasons to carry on, as long as you are OK with it

I believe it does - not sure if they won't take it if offered but if you feel time to omit a feed and it doesn't bother them, then that's time? DD petered out at 21 months. Last thing at night was the last to go. First thing in morning was the one that went before that. It wasn't a problem.
