how do i find out if there are breastfeeding counsellers in my area???

Lots of ways!

Call any of the helplines.

Ask your health visitor.

Call your local maternity unit.

You don't always need to see someone, however. A phone call can be enough.

Make sure if you decide you need a breastfeeding counsellor that you get the real deal not someone calling themselves a breastfeeding counsellor.
