Breast and nipple tenderness

DS2 is 5 and a half months and is ex. bf. Today my breasts and nipples feel quite sore, almost like they did when I first became pregnant and was feeding DS1. It isn't massively painful, but not pleasant! It seems odd, any ideas? I also feel quite full, like I need to feed all the tyime.

DS2 has tongue-tie but it has never been an issue.

I had this. It passed fairly quickly and I wasn't ovulating. Is your DS teething?? Point 5 this kellymom page www.kellymom.com/bf/older-baby/sorenipples-older.html made most sense to me as it cleared up just as DS teeth ruptured when he was 5 months.

I hadn't thought of that. Nooooooooooo to period, that isn't fair!
