Water for breastfed baby

DS2 is 23 weeks and exclusively breastfed. This is probably a stupid question, but I'm not sure when I should start giving him water as well as breastmilk. I'm not going to wean him until he is over 6 months and sitting up, but just wondered about water.

6 months when he starts eating, alongside food.

Once you are offering solids, then it's a good idea to start offering water in a cup with meals. No need to do so before then as long as you are bf on demand
