My DD is just coming up to 16 weeks and I think teething has just started with a vengeance - as well as a growth spurt, great timing.

My problem is that towards the end of the feed, with her gums obviously hurting her, she kind of bites down. This may be easing her pain but not doing much for my poor nips. Combined with the growth spurt where she seems attached to my chest, am looking for some guidance
.
Any suggestions? Does it get better / just a phase? Am keen to persevere as really struggled to get bf established and so not willing to stop for ages yet.

My daughter had teeth at 16 weeks and I was still feeding, she still bites now if she is upset but not very often. she is now 6 months old and I am still breast feeding and she is starting to pull off from me and put her blanky in her mouth to bite if she needs to. So I would say stick with it, but good luck :-)
