fast flow -->limiting what I do..

Have developed fast flowing milk which squirts everywhere.. and to help baby cope, feeding lying down is working.
However this is limiting what I can do in the day.
I'm finding this very difficult, never was a great one at BF in public, but could manage it if needed; since the milk started going everywhere feel much to embarassed to even try.. add in the need to feed lying down and I am feeling very stuck in the house.
LO is 3months.. and so am halfway towards the point I want to get to. Not much longer left in the great scheme of things. But has anyone else felt like this - or got any advice?

I had this problem though perhaps not quite so much as you.
There is some good advice on kellymom, will see if I can find it.

Hope its helpful...

get a muslin, start your lo off, then let milk go into the muslin until the flow eases off back into lo's mouth...had this problem and this worked really well.

Thank you
Panacotta, had seen some of the kellymom info on this but not all the links, so thanks for posting..
Sophable, did you feel able to do this while out and about? Probably being paranoid but have horrible visions of what it might look like!

I have a very strong let down and it was a while before my babies could cope without coming off. I used to tuck a muslin into my bra (to catch the drips) and press my nipple to stop the flow while he wasn't attached (sounds really odd probably!). I think it was quite subtle and as I was expecting it once I felt the let down I was quite quick at stemming the flow. I am quite happy to feed out and about but it was usually better with a wee bit of space so that I didn't spray anyone!

doesn't look like anything as you can just put the muslin against you...you don't hold it away watching the milk squirt out!!!!!
