Does this sound like thrush or a bad latch?

Hi, dd has a cold. She has been making clicking noises as she feeds and becomes distressed while feeding, esp early evening - pulling off and squirming. She's very congested and struggling to feed.

Feeding has become very painful recently and I thought it was due to the cold, but I've noticed my nipples are very pink and shiny, and one of them has some tiny abrasions. I also have pain in my breast straight after the feed which can last for up to an hour or so - shooting stabbing pain.

Does it sound like thrush?

The pink shiny nipple sounds very like thrush - have you looked at DDs tongue?
