17 wk old refusing breast but screeching- i dont know what to do.

i dont know why

he's been screeching for 20 minutes and i keep putting him to the breast but hes refusing. hes due a feed so i know hes hungry. what do i do?

Acid reflux?

Is he arching his back? vomiting? stubborn wind?

I recommend giving him to a calm DH and when he's calm try again.

i got quite frustrated and decided to head to my mums to see if she could soothe him or maybe knew what was wrong.

he didnt really settle and still seemed really hungry but wouldnt feed so i ended up giving him a formula bottle, which he took and settled for long sleep. he has taken ebm from the bottle before.

he then breastfed after that without any problems.i still dont know what it was that put him off in the first place but thankfully he's back on track now.
