Help!!! Microwave steriliser nightmare!!!

Hi,
I have followed the instructions perfectly but when I remove the steriliser after its finished it's not that hot. Thought it should be boiling!!! Am i suppoed to fill the steriliser with hot or cold water first? I presumed cold but not sure now!!!

how much water did you put in- its not much in our old one- 90ml something like that, should be boiling with lots of steam when its finished.

Have you checked your microwave hasn't been changed to defrost setting without you noticing?
