hunger signs...?

List your baby's top signs that he/she wants to eat, and lets see what is most common amongst us?

all the above apply to a colic/wind situation though!

sucking on his fist/hand
poking his tongue out repeatedly in a sort of chewing motion (hard to explain in words )

sucking the shirt of anyone who picks him up

Poking her tongue out
Chewing her fist
Arching her back
Going frantic if I haven't got the message from the above.

turning head towards arm/body when held in cradle position
swiping at mouth with fist
bobbing head back and forth/headbutting shoulder when held upright

Headbutting shoulder (and sucking cheek )
Sucking fist
Crying
Arching back
Moving head over and back while panicking with mouth open

-crying
-breathing in and out really fast, like panting with his mouth open
-arching back, trying to lie down in my arms

As an aside, when he was newborn until about six weeks, he rubbed the back of his hand over his mouth. Swaddling killed this one off, makes me feel sad to think about it.

With mine when newborn it was pretty much being awake .
