Did anyone got pregnant while EBF?

I have a 7-month-old and she's been exclusively breastfed, although in a last month she's been having some solids (proper breakfast, but will not eat that much for lunch and dinner). She's still getting about 6 feeds a day. I didn't get my period yet.
What are the chances of getting pregnant in that situation? Various websites seem to say that EBF is a very sure protection...
I really don't want another baby at the moment, but am crap with most of contraception, for many reasons.
What do you think?

Not to be relied upon unless you are absolutely certain that you can spot the signs of your returning fertility.

There is every chance that you will ovulate before you have your first period (although you may have a cycle or two of bleeing without ovulating) and so your fertility may return before you are aware of it, which is a recipe for getting pregnant.

If you don't want another baby right now, then you need to look at finding some contraception that you are not crap with!!

I was exclusively breastfeeding every 2hrs day and night when my periods returned at 14 weeks. I didn't get pg as I wasn't having sex but I was definitely fertile. It's only reliable if you're exclusively feeding, day and night, no long gaps between feeds and even then- like with me- it's not guaranteed.

You need to think of other contraception if you don't want to get pg.

Thank you for responding. I think I read on kellymom that ebf is almost as reliable as the pill, but it did seem to good to be true!
