green poo

my 3 month old has been pooing a lot (not a large amount but a little bit frequently) and it has a slight greeny tinge to it. I have seen threads about this before but can't remember what causes it. He's breast fed and i drink a few cups of coffee a day (2 - 3), could it be the caffiene irritating his stomach?
thanks

Breastfed baby poo comes in all sorts of different colours sometimes. Is it always a greeny colour? Sometimes it's a sign of a bit of a virus or upset stomach, maybe they've had a bmilk that's composed of more fore than hindmilk, sometimes it's just Friday. It's not usually of any concern.

Is it usually mustardy yellow?

I don't think the caffeine's likely to be a problem.

Apparently it's simply to do with how fast it's passed through the gut.

What SOH said. A cold brewing sometimes causes odd poo too. Dd has done some hat look like she's been eating neon wax crayons
