I hate those wrap-over style ones from Mothercare etc.

Have credit card at the ready to do some online shopping!

don't buy any

get some decent vests in a variety of colours to wear under your favourite normal tops - the ones with skinny straps are best

then hitch top up from waist
pull vest down from neckline
feed!

i have bought some lovely and cheapish ones from H and M

And they are a godsend x

M&S have some nice tummy control vests with skinny straps in at the moment - it works for you both ways !

Caro1302 · 24/08/2009 11:32

I live in strappy vests and my pregnancy bump band at the moment. The vest comes up and the bump band covers my tummy and can be rolled over the boob too so I'm not exposing much at all.

For specific tops, I once tested a good one from ww.mamaway.co.uk. They did dresses too.

HeadFairy · 25/08/2009 23:59

I was never very keen on those kind of things, the little flap thing never seemed to line up with my boobs

I second (or is it third) the suggestion of vests coupled with a bump band to hide tummy when you lift top up.

MrsBadger is right, just get some vests.

DamnHisEyes · 26/08/2009 01:18

Vest is best.

TINKERBELLE33 · 26/08/2009 01:25

Definately use vests, very discrete, comfy and cheap. Can also be used once breast feeding has finished. I found the stretchy Lycra type the best.
