Do you use SMA Gold? do they still have those rubbery plastic yellow lids on the tins?

Hi there

You are in luck.. not been to the recycling yet and have 3 so far.. for some reason I have been saving the yellow spoons too - are these any use? If you message me privately with your address i can post them on..

MerlinsBeard · 13/07/2009 12:32

How are they useful? (in a genuinely curious way)

(and am sorry but all i can think of when i see you post about this is cod calling them, wnaky baskets)

FrannyandZooey · 13/07/2009 20:25

oh thanks all, MumofM they are good heuristic play objects - Comewhine i don't know if blue lids are same type as yellow ones? if so (flexible kind of thing) then they would probably still be useful

redhaired i will CAT you, many thanks

Your welcome Franny . I will hang on posting until next week and squeeze one more lid in when I have finished the tin I'm on at the moment...

McDreamy · 13/07/2009 21:33

I have them too - do you want more I can put them by for you?

FrannyandZooey · 14/07/2009 08:33

yes please mcdreamy! i make posting boxes with them and make lids with different size / shape slots
however they don't always last long once you have cut them so back ups are useful
plus they are fun things to play with just by themselves - you can give a stack of them to a baby and they can squidge them about (possibly pthalates in as flexible rubber? so i tend to stick with as lids for posting boxes
