I wanted a coil instead the dr gave me 3 months of micronor. I am worried to take it as the thought of dd drinking hormones, being fussy, or my milk reducing, seem like bad things. Am scared to take it in case if affects my milk as she is 11 months old, won't eat much at all and only drink breastmilk and a little water.

Does anyone take it and it has no effect at all? am I being silly?

I had micronor from about 3 mths (I think?) and managed to breastfeed twins exclusively! Saw no side-effects at all.

maybe I'm panicking a bit then, thanks for replying, stuff in internet searches was not very helpful, I'm glad to get real opinions.

haven't had any problems bfeeding, just breakthrough bleeding / PMT every 3 weeks which is just as effective as contraception

I think thats what happened to me 10 years ago on it when I had my ds, but I had forgotten.
