funny mass in my breast

think i have thrush, looks like the internet image, am too lazy to make doc appt, too blinking busy really, anyway there is now a large mass along the outside of the boob , the nipples is whitish in parts and the veins are quite pronouced
is the mass maybe a blocked duct, had it now over 36hrs , ds is feeding morn and night off it, and its not changing,
very sore to feed,
kinda achy pain now in the boob he is finished

i suppose its a visit to my "useless" doctor , he drives me mad, trying to change

Deffo sounds like thrush to me, hun

Does DS have patches in his mouth? You both need to be treated or you'll reinfect each other.

You can use Daktarin oral gel for him and the cream for yourself - try asking at the pharmacy.

Or ring the Breastfeeding Network's drugline - Also some useful info re thrush on their site

thanks hunker what a pain in the are, its thrush and obviously gone into the duct, oh f** it anyway.

taking ages to shift it.....
keeps getting a bit better then coming back....
go to pharmacist
apparetnly health visitors can prescrivbe thrush medication too
