Should I express to avoid lumpy boobs in the morning?

Yippie, for the past week my 11 week old is sleeping quite well at night, he sometimes sleeps for up to 6/7 hours at night. Then he only has a quick feed on one boob before falling asleep for maybe 4 hours. Great . But, my boobs end up full, leaking and lumpy. I have nearly woken him up just make him feed. Instead I end up expressing before bed or in the middle of the night.
Should I continue to express, or should I stop so my body gets used to these gaps and put up with it?

AFAIK if you express you boobs will think it is needed, and keep making more milk. I found the same when DS started to sleep through at about the same age, some of the time. I found it settled down after a couple of weeks, or maybe a bit less.

He stopped sleeping through after a few weeks too so it wasn't an issue for long, nice while it lasts though
