Please help - DD2 refusing to feed, screaming, resisting nursing positions...

I know that I have a forceful letdown and that this is the problem but I am getting quite upset by her screaming during feeding sessions and don't know what to do. She seems to hardly feed at all which isn't helping the problem. She resists latching on properly and often slips off during a feed because my nipple/areola is so wet.

She is waving her arms around now in a 'I'm trying to find a boob way' but screams if I even put her in a nursing position.

She'll happily take my milk from a slow flow breast flow bottle but I don't want to spend all my time expressing then feeding her as it takes longer, isn't especially nice and cuddly and is difficult with a toddler around.

Please help. I feel like sitting here crying because I can't comfort my baby.

bumping this for you. have you looked at kelly mom

www.kellymom.com/bf/supply/fast-letdown.html

it has pictures of how to position them so they don't get overwhelemd

Thanks for that. I should probably explain that it is difficult to position her anyway because she is in a Pavlik harness so Ido try to keep her fairly upright but this isn't always easy.
