Breast milk expressing virgin needs some advice...

Hi! I've just bought myself a breast pump so DH can feed DS from time to time while I'm out.

I was wondering - roughly how much milk should I be aiming to express for a feed?

DS is 8 weeks old and is quite a hungry baby.

Some rough idea would be fantastic so I can pump enough tomorrow to keep him going for at least one whole feed.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I used to assume a feed was about 7oz at that age, but I would express as much as you can bear, because it keeps quite well in the fridge for a few days or it freezes really well for future use.
