When to move to beaker?

DD is 8 months and fully breast fed. Have had to go back to work, but she won't take a bottle. I'm lucky that I can take 10 mins off work every time she needs a feed, but obviously not too practical.

Plus I have Take That tickets for next month and want to be able to leave her for a few hours.

So at what age can they move to beakers? Is 8 months too young? I just think it's alot of hassle to wean her on to a bottle, just to change to a cup in a few months.

I think it's fine to use the beaker. There is no need to use a bottle at that age. I agree that it is a lot of hassle to change to bottle then beaker.

DS is 8 months and has drunk water from a beaker since 6 months.

You might want to try the 12 month + beakers which have like a straw going down into them, as sucking a straw is supposed to be easier than working out how to drink from a cup. It means they don't have to tip it up to get any out as well!

You could try the 360 sippy cup stocked at Tesco & Boots.
