How do I get my 7week old bf dd to take a bottle?

Just for occasional bottles of expressed milk to give me a bit of freedom. I've been trying for about 2 weeks and currently trying Nuk bottles but not much joy. She will put it in her mouth and take a very small amount. Should I persist? Any tips?

Keep trying. Also try dp/dh giving the bottle instead of you, she can most likely detect the milk on you! Have you tried tommee tipped closer to nature? They are a good shape.

I would persist.my mum came to stay and got my 12 week old ds to take bottle after a couple of goes. Now I give him just 1 fl oz every evening and I too recommend tommee tipped close to nature.
good luck

Mam ultrivent (sp?) were the only ones that dd would take. Good luck!

My friend's DD would only take a Dr Browne bottle at first, and now will take others. So worth a try. Mothercare have them.
