dropping dreamfeed

DS is 7months and on 3 solid meals a day, 7am and 11am breastfeeds, dropping his 3pm breastfeed, then has formula at bedtime (7pm) and a formula dreamfeed (about 11pm)

He's been consistently sleeping through (well, not waking for a feed anyway!) for over a month - should I start cutting down the dream feed? AM slightly concerned about calorie intake because he seems to be dropping his 3pm breastfeed - have put question about this in weaning - and don't want to bugger up the sleeping through, is it best just to gradually reduce it?

I did it by moving it 15 mins earlier every couple of days, until DD was hardly taking anything. It worked fine. She was around this age too.

thanks - hadn't thought about doing it that way, just thought we'd cut it down gradually...makes sense though
