How long before frozen BM is the wrong composition for baby's stage?

And a coconut to anyone who deciphered that! I know the composition of BM changes as LOs develop, so would milk from a month ago be acceptable to a baby, or just a couple of weeks? DS is five months and has EBM at bedtime. Usually I express before I go to bed so I'm not exploding by 2am, but I like to have some in stock as well.

It'd be fine.

I am still using my stocks from when Ds was in Scbu, some of it is 4 months old.. he doesnt seem to notice a difference

I wouldn't worry about it either. There are some variations but it's really not a major concern especially if you are just talking about some ebm at bedtime.

It hardly makes any difference I wouldn't worry about it.

Doesn't matter - it's still better than formula!

Thanks. I wasn't worried it would harm him, I just thought he might turn up his perfectly formed little nose!

If he hasn't tasted frozen bm yet I'd definitely try it on him before you run out of fresh stuff as it definitely tastes different. (Going on ds's face, not my own experience!!)
