Just seen this mentioned on another MN thread (from old) and found a copy online - sorry if it's common knowledge on here

Particularly love the bit about customers "offering feedback"

The Cambridge John Lewis (built 18 months ago) had a special promotion during Breast Feeding Awareness Week recently. A glamorous blonde lady in the baby department was wearing a t-shirt inviting enquiries about bf from customers. She then steered them towards the £127 Avent 'all you need to bf' kit as well as a number of expensive pumps. Meanwhile DS3 was crying and I needed to feed him, so I asked where I could do this. I was directed to an uncomfortable upright stained chair outside the smelly disabled toilet by the till. Two of us bf mums took turns using the chair. Blokes queuing at the till stared at us.

Now call me naive, but if I was running a baby department, I would want to have a nice bf room where I could showcase glider chairs, and market bf props in display cases with information displays by them, to encourage people to settle down and be tempted to buy things whilst feeding in comfort. Perhaps I have been watching too much of The Apprentice??
