Breastfeeding in France

MrsBish · 26/05/2009 15:02

We're off to France in a few weeks for a holiday.

While there I'll still be breast feeding my 9month old (along with her solids).

I was just wondering what the French attitude to BF is. Can I feed with confidence anywhere? I just like to know where I stand before I go.

Thanks

I BF DS (he was younger than your DD, about 5 months old) when we were in Brittany and it was fine.
To be honest I've only had positive BF experiences whichever country we've been in, either no-one bats an eyelid, warm smiles or comments about how lovely it is to see a baby being BF.
Have a lovely holiday
