Hi, am currently exclusively breastfeeding dd 5months old, with no immediate plans to stop. I have two rather painful veruccas that I want to treat. I bought some of the over the counter freezing treatments but the leaflets say dont use while bf. Does anyone know which treatment I can use as really dont want to have to go to the docs for this. Please help. Thanks

really cannot think how it can possibly be a problem to use them TBH

as long as you don't freeze your nips off!

they don't work very well though

try filing the hard skin off and putting duct tape on instead (verrucas not norks)

Having tried every technique known to man (and Boots the Chemist) I finally splashed out on a private clinic in desperation and the doc there told me she treated pregnant ladies and ladies who are breastfeeding.

That being said the only thing that worked on mine was having the little buggers cut out in the end!!
Good luck!

Have you tried banana skin. Better than any pharaceutical preperations IME.

Personally I do treat with Salicylic acid (e.g. Bazooka) to hel expose the root of the verucca - then move on to banana. Not essential though.

Cut a small peice of banana skin to cover verucca. Place fleshy side on teh verucca and tape on. Leave for 24hrs. Remove wipe with a baby wipe and repeat.
It appears as though nothing is happening for a week r so. Then all of a sudden it appears that the verucca is raising up and seperating from the healthy skin underneath.
After another week or so (when it is literally hanging off) take a long soak in the bath and it will literally drop off.
