DS2 is 9 months today and still feeds like a newborn! He is on/off all day, despite having 2-3 'meals' (he does just throw it about sometimes though) a day. Evening time he just feeds on/off until he eventually goes to sleep. I try and do something else before a feed if he has just had one (or several) but he claws at my top and yells. When DS1 was this age I was able to go shopping etc., but I cannot leave DS2 knowing he is OK for milk for a while. He also cries as soon as I come into a room if someone else has him and leans to be with me - will this all pass? Am I doing somethng wrong? Thanks

Have you tried leaving him for a bit? It might be that he is reminded of milk when he's with you, but would be happy with some water and a snack if someone else was looking after him.

Completely normal, my ds was (and is) exactly the same. I found out that when I did leave him for the day he was fine. If you're planning a trip away though I'd get expressing sooner rather than later. I expressed several times a day with dd and never had a problem but my god it was an effort when I tried this time round

I did leave him for maybe 45 mins when I had slimming world and DH took him home, but he cried like he was starving when I walked in.

Ds does that everytime I walk by him to leave the room. Separation anxiety and nothing more, I would say.

Do you know if it wears off? Thanks
