Playtex Bottles

I am having a nightmare trying to wean my baby off the breast as she seems to refuse all bottles. I have been reading about the playtex bottles and just wondered if anyone had any experience with these and where I can buy them? Have had a look online but am really confused with all the things that seem to go with them: bottle, teat, liners etc etc. If I buy online what do I need to order!?! Thanks for your help!

I remember this nightmare well.

A maternity nanny told me about Nuk bottles, they were the only ones that DD1 would take, ended up giving away all my Avent bottles I bought on the lead up to stopping BF.

Anyway fast forward about 3 years. Getting ready to wean DD2 off BF and go out and buy lovely shiny new Nuk bottles as I know they work.

Yup, you guessed it, she wouldn't go near them. Would only take the Avent bottles - aaarrrggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

So my advice would be try and borrow a bottle or buy one at a time, you can always go and buy more if she seems to like it.

Good luck, you will get there.

As a Matenrity Nanny i would second trying for several feeds just 1 bottle/teat.

i have had success with MAM ULTIvent teats which work in Avent / Shop brand wide necked bottles & Dr Brown bottles so reducing the cost.

NUK / Chicco / Playtex & Tommee Tippee Closer 2 Nature are not compatable with other teats.

Ask at Baby Group and look on eBay.
