Last week you gave me some advice about my newborn who had jaundice and had lost 8.7% of his birth weight. He is now 9 days old and has regained the lot, including 5oz since Tuesday.

Thank you for your help and advice. I did mention on the last thread but you helped me with DS1 as well, although I had a different name then. Thank you so much.

Just checked the thread - yes, you had the unhelpful midwife who also had the mad idea that you should have one breast for your newborn and one for your toddler, in order for them to get the right milk....

You might want to think about complaining about her?

Yes, that was me! Luckily came across another midwife who tandem fed herself. She gave me some great advice. I'm going to write to the Head of Midwifery saying that but also saying I had some really dodgy advice. Thanks again!
