Increasing supply at a growth spurt- how does it work?

Hi,

My DD is 6wks and is suddenly feeding loads, which I assume is a growth spurt. I know this goes to increase my supply. All good, but my question is, once its increased, what happens? Does my let down become faster or does she need to feed for longer to get what she needs?

Thanks

She already takes an hour to feed so Im hoping its not longer!

Hi GYo your supply will increase and decrease in line with her feeding needs. She will get more efficient as she gets older.
She obv enjoys the feeds if she's on for an hour

You're doing fabulously!
